Maegan is goal and relationship oriented, with a passion for empowering the people around her to make their dreams become their reality. Having become a homeowner at a young age, she realized that a career in mortgage was a perfect avenue for her to focus her efforts and enable others to understand the value of the real estate industry.
While working toward her Bachelor’s Degree from Tarleton State University, Maegan was employed as the Market Center Administrator over two local Real Estate offices in Granbury, TX which accelerated her interest in homeownership and investing. This historic lake community is the place she calls her hometown, where she purchased her first house, on her 21st birthday, and where she began her mortgage career as a Loan Processor. Upon relocating to San Antonio, Maegan began establishing a foundation for her future with her second home purchase in 2012. Within four years, the equity from the sale of this house provided her the means necessary to provide for her son, as a newly single mother. After renting for a time, Maegan quickly began taking the steps needed to become a homeowner again and plant roots for her son, Beckham. In 2017 she achieved her biggest goal as a single mother by purchasing a home by herself, with her then four year old at the closing table by her side. This experience was pivotal in Maegan’s mortgage career, as it opened her eyes to the importance of relationships in the Real Estate industry. As a processor, she had always taken pride in getting to know her clients throughout their purchases, but wanted to be more involved in their experience, which eventually led her to becoming a Loan Originator.
A well rounded knowledge of Real Estate from professional and personal experience has equipped Maegan to provide a thorough awareness to her customers of the entire loan progression, from pre-approval to funding, and beyond. She understands that each purchase and refinance has a unique objective and takes pride in personalizing the process and experience, as well as maintaining effective communication to all parties throughout.
Total Lending Concepts offers the wide variety of loan products necessary for Maegan to make homeownership attainable for qualified buyers. Her background has provided her with specialized experience for Oilfield workers and their families, due to the unique attributes of their income and non-traditional schedules. Additionally, she recently established The Pink Door project, a group designed for single women and single mothers to support one another through the process of purchasing homes in the absence of a spouse or significant other. She also takes pride in assisting Military and First Responders, as an opportunity to serve those who have served us.
